PECOAT® PVC Plastisol Coating Line
- Basic Composition
- Preheating Oven: It is used to preheat the dumbbell to ensure that the surface temperature of the dumbbell meets the requirements of the coating process, which helps to improve the adhesion between the PVC plastisol and the dumbbell substrate.
- Material Tank: It is used to store PVC plastisol. The number of material tanks can be 1 or 2 according to requirements, which facilitates the replacement of different colors of plastisol.
- Dipping System: It is responsible for immersing the preheated dumbbell into the plastisol tank. The dipping time and depth can be precisely controlled to ensure a uniform coating thickness.
- Post-heating Oven: After the dumbbell is dipped, it needs to be transferred to the post-heating oven for curing. It is heated at a set temperature (e.g., 200°C) for a specific time (e.g., 2-5 minutes) to solidify the coating and form a stable film layer.
- Chain Track: It connects the preheating oven, material tank, and post-heating oven to realize the transmission of dumbbells between various processes.
- Types
- Fully Automatic Coating Line: The ovens and material tanks are connected by chain tracks, and the movement of the dumbbells on the tracks is driven by power. It has the advantages of high production efficiency, stable coating quality, and low labor intensity, and is suitable for large-scale mass production of dumbbells.
- Semi-Automatic Coating Line: The ovens and material tanks are connected by chain tracks, and the movement of the dumbbells along the tracks is manually pushed. Its production efficiency is between fully automatic and purely manual, and it is suitable for small and medium-sized production batches.
- Purely Manual Coating Line: The ovens and material tanks are physically separated, and the transfer of dumbbells is done manually. The equipment investment is low, but the production efficiency is low, the coating quality is difficult to guarantee uniformly, and it is only suitable for small-batch trial production or personalized customization.
PECOAT® PVC Plastisol for Dumbbells
- Composition: It is a mixture of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resin and a plasticizer. The plasticizer makes it have stretchy and rubbery properties, which can form a soft and elastic coating on the surface of the dumbbell.
